A Study of the “After-school” Policy after 1990\u27s : Focusing on the After-school “Care”

The purpose of this paper is to clarify the transformation of the “after -school” policy\u27s idea after 1990’s. This paper analyzes it through the development of education policy and social welfare policy from 1990 to the present, by focusing on the after-school “care”./ There are two big changes of the idea of the after-school policy in these about ten years. First, the target is not (only) child who is absence of care in the daytime but all child. And the project offers many activities including learning activities, but do not offer “a space of life” based on the idea of care. Second, children become to spend after school hours at school, but not other spaces./ These changes may cause to reorganize the relation between school and family. The functions of child rearing, educating and living are integrated to school.論文/Thesi
